My name is Lou, and I’m a certified sound healer and lifelong musician specializing in sound healing, based in the Greater Tampa and St. Petersburg area. Before I focused on sound healing, music was my primary language.
With years of experience as a musician playing bass guitar, percussion, and handpan, I’ve learned how sound feels, moves, interacts, and resonates within both the body and space. This musical foundation is what sets my approach to sound healing apart at Grateful Sound Healing.
Here, sound isn’t merely played — it’s listened to, shaped, and felt, creating a unique Tampa sound therapy experience.

Many sound healing sessions, including those offered in Tampa sound therapy, rely on memorized sequences or preset routines. My approach to Grateful Sound Healing is different because it’s deeply rooted in musicianship.
As a bassist and percussionist, I’m trained to:
- Feel rhythm in the body
- Hear subtle shifts in tone and resonance
- Respond intuitively to energy in real time
- Layer sound with intention, timing, and space
This translates into sound healing sessions that are fluid, responsive, and alive — not scripted. Each bowl strike, gong swell, or handpan tone is chosen moment-by-moment, based on what your nervous system and energy field are communicating in this unique musician sound healing experience.

My sessions may include:
Tibetan Singing Bowls — deeply grounding, harmonizing, and heart-opening, as well as a stand-in bowl for deep grounding, perfect for Grateful Sound Healing.
Gong — for powerful clearing, expansion, and multi-frequency immersion, enhancing the experience of musician sound healing.
Crystal Singing Bowls — when clarity, lightness, or higher resonance is needed, ideal for those seeking Tampa sound therapy.
Handpan & Percussive Elements — subtle rhythmic grounding and melodic flow.
Because of my musical background, I treat these instruments not just as tools, but as voices in a conversation — each with its own role, range, and emotional quality.

Sound healing, especially through Grateful Sound Healing, works best when sound is felt, not forced. My goal as a musician in sound healing is not to 'do' anything to you — it’s to create a safe, grounded sound environment where your body can:
- Drop into deep rest
- Release stored tension
- Re-synchronize naturally
- Remember its own rhythm
Music has taught me that silence matters just as much as sound. That same awareness guides every session I offer, including my Tampa sound therapy sessions.

Grateful Sound Healing was created as a space for people to slow down, reconnect, and rest deeply in vibration. Whether you come for an individual session, a couples experience, a group sound bath, or an event, my intention is always the same: to meet you where you are — and let sound do what it’s always done best. As a musician specializing in sound healing, I incorporate elements of Tampa sound therapy to enhance your experience.
